Waikato Prayer Times ("the App") is operated by the Waikato Muslim Association and Hamilton Jamia Mosque. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This app is a community utility that provides Islamic prayer times and a Ramadan calendar for the Hamilton, New Zealand Muslim community.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to any server.
The only data stored is on your own device, locally, using your browser's localStorage. This includes:
This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.
If you enable prayer notifications, this is handled entirely on your device via the browser's Push Notification API and Service Worker. No notification data is sent to any external server.
The app loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). This is a standard web service. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle font requests.
The app is hosted on GitHub Pages. Please refer to GitHub's Privacy Policy for hosting-related data handling.
The app does not request or use your device's location. Prayer times are pre-calculated for Hamilton, New Zealand.
This app does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app is suitable for all ages.
